Terms of Service

1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "Tenant," or "Landlord") and RentflowSB ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of the RentflowSB platform, including any related website, applications, and services (collectively, the "Services").

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Services.

2. Description of Services

RentflowSB provides a platform that facilitates rent payments and related financial transactions between tenants and landlords. RentflowSB is not a bank, lender, or financial institution.

We do not guarantee payment performance, tenant compliance, or landlord obligations.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services. By using the Services, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.

4. User Accounts

You agree to provide accurate and complete information, maintain the security of your account, and be responsible for all activity under your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts at our discretion.

5. Payments and Financial Transactions

Accepted Payment Methods

All payments processed through RentflowSB are facilitated exclusively via Stripe. By initiating a transaction, users agree to comply with Stripe's applicable terms and conditions.

ACH (Bank Transfer) Fees

For payments made via ACH, a processing fee of 0.8% of the total transaction amount applies. This fee is split equally between the tenant and the landlord, with each party responsible for 0.4%, subject to a maximum fee of $2.50 per party per transaction.

Convenience Fee

For each online transaction processed through RentflowSB, the property owner (landlord) is charged a flat convenience fee of $2.00 per transaction.

Credit Card Payments

For payments made via credit card, all applicable processing fees are borne solely by the tenant. The exact fee amount may vary based on Stripe's processing rates and will be disclosed at the time of payment.

By proceeding with a transaction, both tenant and landlord acknowledge and agree to these fee allocations.

6. No Financial Responsibility

RentflowSB is not responsible for failed or delayed payments, insufficient funds, chargebacks or disputes, or tenant or landlord misconduct. All transactions are solely between users.

7. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to use the platform for unlawful purposes, provide false or misleading information, attempt to interfere with the platform's operation, or engage in fraud or payment abuse.

8. Third-Party Services

The Services rely on third-party providers, including Stripe for payment processing. RentflowSB is not responsible for the actions, errors, or policies of these third parties.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, RentflowSB shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, loss of money, data, or business, or errors or interruptions in service. Your use of the Services is at your own risk.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RentflowSB from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your transactions with other users.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, with or without notice, for any reason.

12. Modifications

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California.
